Pain Perdu: Reviews & Ratings
Sweet and simple setting. Parisienne feel. A fresh baguette of perfect texture with delicious butter and apricot jam hit the spot, accompanied by an excellent coffee. Several classic lunch choices on the menu. I was more in the mood for baked goods. Took away an apricot Danish. Yummy. Not overly sweet. The lady in charge really cares about her customers. Pain Perdu is about a quality French cafe experience.
My first time at Pain Perdu where I met a friend for lunch. I had the spinach and goat cheese quiche with a salad. It was delicious. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy. Friendly service. I plan on going back to sample some of the temping French pastries. Perhaps a different quiche too.
Cozy cafe and friendly service. Had the quiche, croque monsieur and raisin pastry. Everything was delicious!

I was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem. There warm chicken sandwich was so good. Proves to show simple ingredients work with the right people. A great atmosphere not to loud. And the service was very pleasant. I'm definitely getting a chocolate croissant to go.
heating up the croissants at home before consuming is definitely serving these croissants right! they are so good and crunchy in the right spots, nothing beats a good laminated croissant. i tried out two slices of quiches, and they do not disappoint! so yummy and just the right flavour, not heavy at all, and the crust hold everything together. such a lovely shop, you could really taste the love in the food from the makers.
I really loved the croissants...small place, staff very friendly and great service. Coffee as well delicious. I totally recommend :)
I am actually obsessed with this place. The gruyere baguette sandwich blew me away. The quiche was perfect. This place does french bistro food properly and really is not too expensive. I loved it here. Definitely will be returning. Decent options available for vegetarians, but less for vegans.
